Job Description
 
Is responsible for the ongoing functional areas, administration, development, and support of Workday. Gathers requirements, solves issues, and develops and executes new enhancements. Supports both Human Capital Management (HCM) and financial functions. Work is performed under the general direction of the Workday Administrator and reviewed through discussions and reports submitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting Information Systems, HRIS, or related field plus Workday system experience and four (4) years experience working with Human Capital Management systems and/or Financial systems; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required at the time of employment. Preference for functional experience with Human Resource and Financial systems, project management, and the design and development of new reports including calculated fields.

Additional Qualifications for Promotion

Promotions are not to be considered an automatic function of longevity and are subject to the review and authorization of the Supervisor. The employee’s last performance review must have resulted in an overall rating of Meets standards or better with no factor rating of less than meets.
 
Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day support and development for the HCM and financial functional areas. This may include troubleshooting support, business process configuration, testing, and other support.

Assists with deployment of new functionality; recommends enhancements; and configures, tests, and validates changes.

Assists with reporting needs which may include modifying or creating reports as well as dashboards.

Works with functional leads on training needs to develop and maintain training and communication materials for new and existing functionalities. Participates in the delivery of training new employees and managers.

Troubleshoot issues with Workday functionality or tasks.

Coordinates testing efforts around the bi-annual Workday releases including researching new functionality and educating the business on enhancements as applicable.

Provides information to HCM and financial functional areas regarding new functionality.

Works with functional teams in integrating change management activities into overall project plan.

Supports communication efforts.

Evaluates and ensures user readiness.

Conducts readiness assessments, evaluates results, and presents findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.

Identifies resistance and performance gaps; works to develop and implement corrective actions.

Serves users with enthusiasm with an eagerness to teach.

Tracks and reports issues.

Participates (and may serve as project leader) in the development, testing, and implementation for new projects, enhancements, interfaces, and reports for HCM and Finance in Workday.

Analyzes and translates complex business needs into effective Workday solutions, considering best practices and system capabilities

Drives configuration improvements and troubleshooting of current business processes

Processes, approves, and maintains users' security access requests to specific data/domain/tasks/reports in Workday system under the supervision of the Workday Administrator.

Documents key processes and configuration for reference to ensure consistency.

Develops and helps with administration of the Workday System User and Manager Help Dashboard and Self-Service Help guides; monitors and maintains Workday Assistant user interface (UI) tool.

Performs other duties as assigned.
