Job Description

|
Performs responsible supervisory and administrative work assisting in the managing and executing of ticketing operations, event builds, event maintenance, seating manifests, floor sets, and final ticket office statements for settlement across a wide range of activities and events (excluding NBA). Responsible for assisting in coordinating all ticketing event information between the promoter, venue personnel, and the ticketing provider in a timely manner. Maintains communication with ticketing provider. Responsible for accurate inventory of all tickets.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field plus experience with Ticketmaster Host database and two (2) or more years experience in ticketing management, preferably in major league sports (i.e., NFL, NBA, MLS, MLB) or in a large-scale entertainment venue; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Supervises daily operations of the ticket operations through the execution of the ticketing platform in all aspects beginning and ending with manifesting to post show financial settlements.
Trains, schedules, assigns, and reviews the work of employees engaged in the ticket operations.
Maintain upcoming shows on ticketing system; monitors sales activities and prepares daily sales reports, transaction journals, and deposit forms; conducts daily audits to balance and verify the accuracy of all revenues received.
Maintains security of all monies received.
Assists with all financial reconciliation regarding daily, monthly and as-needed reports, and sales trackers utilizing the Ticketmaster platform.
Supervises the procurement, receipt, verification and consignment of all tickets; authorizes refunds, exchanges and cancellations on tickets purchased in accordance with departmental policies. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring accurate programming/collection of all ticketing financials/revenue including face value, facility fees and rebates.
Establishes and maintains event files.
Resolves patron and/or promoter complaints and responds to inquiries regarding ticket operations.
Provides scheduling, leadership, and direction to event day box office ticket seller manager/supervisors .
Develops and administers annual operating budget for ticket operations; monitors expenditures and purchases necessary materials and supplies.
Coordinates any changes or updates in offers, seating manifests, or technology with all partners and tenants including Ticketmaster, Florida Citrus Sports, Orlando Magic, Orlando Solar Bears, Greater Orlando Sports for NCAA, etc.
Manages the City of Orlando efforts with stakeholders and partners at the local, regional, and national levels, as needed. Stakeholders may include academic partners, regional energy efficiency organizations, nonprofits or other companies, and federal agencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
