Job Description
 
Performs paraprofessional and technical system support for the City Clerks’ Office administrative functions. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for business systems software, coordinating and implementation of system software updates, developing and overseeing system testing plans, troubleshooting and finding resolutions, training users, and documenting procedures for Agenda Management, Records Management, Boards and Commissions Management, Document Management, Election Management, Codes of Ordinances and other technology systems including audio, visual, technical (i.e conference rooms), mapping (elections/cemetery), and City Clerk webpages. Work is performed under the general supervision of the City Clerk and Deputy City Clerk and performance is reviewed through conferences, reports and result achieved.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration or related field and two (2) years of experience in systems support; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver’s License required.

Supports the City Clerk’s Office system administration.

Provides other citywide system support (i.e Workday and Office 365)

Documents new and existing software.

Troubleshoots, identifies issues and proposes solutions.

Updates software and develops testing plans.

Coordinates the development/updating of related procedural documentation.

Provides basic system training to system users as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.
