Job Description
 
Develops and implements Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) strategy that addresses business needs and supports all HR functions. Serves as HR project manager in the sourcing, selection, and implementation of HRIS and related technology solutions and services. Is responsible for the integration, operation, and maintenance of automated information systems and databases, including HRIS, applicant tracking, and imaging systems. Manages the HR Department's vision’s Employee Records Section. Work is performed under the general direction of the HR Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field plus supervisory experience and at least four (4) years recent professional HRIS project management and implementation experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) or similar system experience a plus.
 
Responsibilities

Supports the strategic direction of the HR Division with respect to Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related technology. Keeps abreast of technology trends and their potential impact on HR systems and operations.

Serves as HRIS Project Manager for the HR Division and ensures successful systems implementation. Also serves as the primary point of contact for HR technology issues.

Analyzes, designs, operates, implements, and maintains automated information systems and databases, including HRIS, applicant tracking, and imaging systems.

Develops systems documentation, operating procedures, and training programs; trains members of HR team and other system users on new processes and functionality as needed.

Manages the development and maintenance of the HR Division intranet page.

Researches best practices; conducts feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis in order to identify technology solutions that most effectively and efficiently addresses HR business needs.

Ensures data integrity of HR Systems. Maintains employee records in accordance with federal and state laws.

Provides technical support to all HR/functions.

Extensive knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems and related technology trends.

Knowledge of systems analysis and information systems concepts, techniques, and operating principles.

Knowledge of Florida Public Records law.

Knowledge of current methods and techniques of project management.

Knowledge of and thorough understanding of HR functions, data, processes, and applicable regulations.

Knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.

Skilled in the use of computers and Microsoft business applications.

Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

Ability to supervise the work of others.

Ability to operate personal computer for extended periods of time.
