Home Page

The Home page merely displays the email address that can be used to inform the department of issues regarding benchmarks.  You must manually type the email address into your email client application.  It was purposely not made into a hyperlink.

Vertical Control

The Vertical Control page is where you will find information about the benchmarks.  The page has two modes.  The initial, list mode shows a table with a set number of benchmark records.  You can page through the list using the paging control at the top center or bottom center of the table, clicking on page numbers or the ellipses, or the words “First” or “Last”.  You can also sort the benchmarks by particular columns by clicking on the column headers.  Repeated clicks alternate between ascending and descending sort modes.  Entering values into the controls at the top of the page allows you to filter the records that are displayed.

The second, detail mode shows the details of the selected benchmark.  Selecting one of the row entries allows you to see the detailed data for just that benchmark.  It also allows you to see documents which have been associated with the benchmark.  To display a benchmark’s associated files,

1.       Select the benchmark row.

2.       Look in the upper right corner of the page for a box that lists the documents.

3.       Click a document to highlight it.

4.       Click the Open button.

To return from the view showing the benchmark’s details, click the Cancel button at the bottom of the page to return to the list of all of the benchmarks.  Alternately, you can select the Vertical Control menu item to return to the list, or select another menu item to see another page.

Field Notes

The Field Notes menu item brings up the Field Note Files page.  The initial, list mode shows a table with a set number of associated document records.  You can page through the list using the paging control at the top center or bottom center of the table, clicking on page numbers or the ellipses, or the words “First” or “Last”.  You can also sort the documents by particular columns by clicking on the column headers.  Repeated clicks alternate between ascending and descending sort modes.

The second, detail mode shows the details of the selected document record.  From the table in the initial view, you can click on the View it button to display the file.  Selecting one of the row entries allows you to see the detailed data for just that file.  To return from this view, click the Cancel button at the bottom of the page to return to the list of all of the associated files.

Note: Certain file types may not be able to be viewed, such as Word or Excel or other “Office” files due to the lack of installed applications to display them.
